Model Study

While not sitting on my rooftop to lure in turkey vultures, I took another look at a model for a cover I hope to make. Since the image renders do take some time and I normally have to keep bouncing out of my chair like it was spring-loaded, I decided to see how the subject 'cleaned up'.
First, we have the unlucky colonial [stuck in a body grown from the vanished twin's DNA] partially kitted for action.

Second, we have the same colonial with a somewhat more traditional form of garb.

Next up, figuring out how to import a sidearm and pose her against an HDRI backdrop.
Hopefully not too unrealistic.

Since that is a question [with variants] I have tried to avoid answering for decades, I decided to try again. Looks like I can add fitting clothes to the model in Blender to my list of things to figure out.
Next up, seeing if the HDRI will load.

I'm guessing if I apply myself, in about 50 years I might be half as good as Ron is now.

(which I did exclusively until about 12 years ago), I work mostly in Photoshop today. I use it in conjunction with a graphics tablet, which allows me to still do my work by hand.

I was the kid in art class who never quite got encouraged. But you'd be amazed how much it fascinates my daughters to see one of fumbling efforts take shape. One day perhaps they might be able to create beauty where all I can create is utilitarian.

https://antiquasphinge.wixsite.com/booksThe first time that a woman asks, you are obligated to say "No," as casually and convincingly as possible given the circumstances. The second time, you are permitted to elaborate, "No, it's not the dress, Sweetie."
It is recommended that you reserve the second remark for a time when throwable objects are not near the subject, or when you are at a considerable distance.
The second example is "roomier in the hips" than the first.

Trust me, it's less painful than setting your own nose after it's been broken, regardless of who broke it for you. I speak from experience.

I guess my take on the "butt looks big" dilemma might be why I'm single...

Betimes it takes a while to encounter the right person. There's a reason 34 years separate my first and second child.
