I was trying to add my book to a Wikipedia website and it said that books from Lulu can't be added to the site. Does anybody know why?
No. What site is that exactly?
I wrote a book that I wanted to add to the Wikipedia page on "Huguenots". I went to add the link and I got a notice saying that books from lulu.com couldn't be added because they are blocked. I can't imagine why Wikipedia would block any link from lulu.com
Does the staff at Lulu know about this?
you violated the wikipedia terms trying to create a self-promoting page or link for/to an your self-published book
wikipedia is an encyclopedia and its voices need to be referenced, neutral and valuable, it is not a place to get free traffic and visibility for a self-published book
any attempt to create self-promoting pages will be blocked, page deleted, and user banned if he/she insists to create self-promoting pages
But there are 1000s of writers are given mention on it, and I bet not all by third parties.

They also do this >> http://teleread.com/ebooks/wikipedia-offers-customized-print-on-demand-books-of-wikipedia-entries/
And have areas such as this >> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-publishing
