i've published a workbook for a class i'm teaching in the 7 x 9 landscape format.
however, the cover is turning into a big problem, because i just realized there is no option for printing on the inside of the cover.
is there a way to do this?
That's not possible with print on demand.
you're printing the insides on both sides.
what if i just want to print the whole book on your text stock with no cover?
The cover is printed and laminted on a different machine then applied to the printed interior files during the binding process. Hence the limitation.
I've decided to work around by adding 4 pages to the book and taking the image meant for the inside front cover and putting it in the book itself.
But this will entail a revision and a delay in printing.
I still think there should be this option.
You can trust that when our printers get this technology, it will be offered as an option.
I would really love to have embossed lettering on cover, since we're asking.
And how about metallic ink?
