Amazon and lulu with both get a cut and taxes will be taken out. Has this happened in the past or is this the first time? For each of my $12 books I only get around $3.50 after Amazon and lulu, taxes and credit card sales are covered.
I sold one copy through Amazon last month - the revenue? £0.80!
Don't forget when you set your price look at the page where it says profit from lulu and profit "other.' You make more from lulu sales than outside of lulu because of distribution fees etc. So set your price high enough to make a profit
Indeedy! I have just checked.
I guess it's a case of if, in my case, it may be wonderful to sell one with a profit of £3.80, but there's more chance of selling five on Amazon with total proceeds of £4.40
