I am new here, and need to know how many pages or words it takes to get published here at Lulu? and what or where are the prices for paperback books? Thanks!
Depends on your binding.
I've made a perfectbound 6x9 (trade paperback) as small as 70 pp. -- the wizard shows a minimum of 32 pp. for that style.
The range is 32 to 740.
Coilbound ranges from 1 to 470 pp.
Saddle-stitch is 1 to 88 pp.
Hardcover go from 24 to 800 pp.
Photobooks and calendars, 20 to 250 pp.
I, too, noticed that Lulu has a minimum of one page for saddle-stitched books. How do you saddle stitch one page? Does this mean one sheet, folded once to make four pages?
That makes sense.
Maybe it's so you can have one page of print so profound that readers need three pages for notes to help them understand it.
(that's my story, and I'm sticking to it...)
Well Skoob, Eric Clapton once said that his ultimate dream was to walk out on stage and with one cord make everyone in the concert hall cry in disbelief. Not sure if he's done it yet.
