Last week, I published my book and ordered a proof copy. I have noticed a mistake, and I don't know how to correct it. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm so frustrated with myself. : /
When looking at your projects page, click on 'revise' next to the book. It will take you through all of the steps again - just replace your inner or outer file with one that has been corrected. You'll have to order another proof before you can approve it for distribution, but the corrected version will be available for you through lulu immediately after you finish the revision process.
Thank you! That should help.
Always save a copy on your hard drive. That way you make corrections to it. Make sure to delete the copy uploaded by clicking on the red x when you get to that part then upload the corrected one. I usually make a pdf of my text to read on the pc while it reads it aloud. It helps to catch errors.
You should download Grammarly, as it helps catch grammar mistakes.
I agree with the recommendation of Grammarly - and consider signing up at the paid level too, as it gives you a more in-depth analysis than the free version.
I used to use Ginger's paid version. I opened up word doc and scanned giving you suggestions to make and it did it with one click, no typing. But they changed it so it's no good now. Haven't tried grammarly.
After uploading new Docx file, lulu epub converter doesn't work. Yesterday the whole process was okay until it finish, but today, it seems there is a glitch.
Is it my file or is there anything else I should know about? Thanks.
I just gave it a shot and it isn't working for me either. No matter what file I upload it tells me there's a problem.
The converter has been displaying sporadic error messages when it should be converting without a problem. I would encourage you to try converting again at least once or twice. If it continues to fail, send us a support case to document the issue.
We are tracking this issue, but more evidence will help us figure out what exactly is causing the problem.
