I have tried to publish my project but there hitch is where i can't convert because of I am not able to put Chapters and headings as per the requirements. Any help on this is highly appreceiated.
You can assign Heading 1 style to the title and the word Copyright on the copyright page.
I wasted most of a weekend. This may help http://connect.lulu.com/t5/Suggest/Epub-Lessons-Learned/idi-p/337336
Our eBook Creator Guide has tons of information on how to successfully make an eBook:
I would look specifically at the section on making your table of contents:
But the creator guide does not tell you you are wasting your time trying to submit it as an epud! It is the things the guide does not tell you that will waste your time
The second link in the Guide, after the introduction, specifies that our converter works with "a properly formatted DOC, DOCX, RTF, or ODT file"
Yet when I was trying to use it it also stated that it would accept epud! (Specifically the conversion page where you upload your file) If that has been fixed, so much the better.
You can use an EPUB file you've already created, but we don't advise doing so, as our support team can only offer specific support for text file conversions. When you're using an EPUB file, the only option when it fails to convert is to review the text file we provide with error notices and use that to attempt to correct the file.
I'd be very interested to know how often someone has sucessfully submitted with Epud. A dozen times I was told there was only one single thing wrong with the file. I download the file to change it and the convertor has created dozens of errors. I do not think it is fair to claim you support and accept epud when a vast number of wasted man-hours shows that it is virtually impossible to submit like this.
OK, I have tried like 20 times to upload my .DOC file and convert to epub. It keeps giving me an unknown error. I am confident that my headings are correct, but having huge issues. Read to smash something.
I took a look at your file and I see a nested list on page 73. EPUBs won't support multi-level lists, so you'll have to reformat those items before it will convert.
