Purchase posted to account, then suddenly removed?

I would like to track an order I recently made. I had not signed up for this website when I made the purchase, and used the guest checkout feature. My bank account was originally deducted the cost of my purchase, but recently (at some point during today) the purchase was removed from my statement, and my money was back in my account. Has there been a problem with my order? How would I know? I have not received any further contact, and am very confused. I am willing to reorder the books, but I would not like to be charged twice in case the first purchase eventually goes through and reposts to my account. Has this happened to anyone else? I have no idea what is happening, and the silence is killing me.
