What forms of payment does Lulu accept?
Lulu accepts major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal and country-specific payment methods based on the shipping address. Lulu does not accept personal checks or money orders.
Is it safe to enter my credit card information on Lulu?
Lulu.com is a secure site (secured by Comodo Secure) and has a signed certificate. Data you enter into your browser when making a purchase is encrypted and secure. To make sure you are accessing our secure server before you submit personal financial information, look at the bottom corner of your browser. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon your browser), then you are accessing our secure server. The URL shows "https" at the beginning of the Web address if you have accessed a secure server (non-secure URLs begin with "http," without an "s").
Card Security Code
Another way Lulu safeguards your credit card is by requiring you to enter your card security code at checkout. The card security code is an important internet security feature that appears on the back of most Visa/MasterCard and Discover cards, and on the front of American Express cards. This code is a three- or four-digit number which provides a cryptographic check of your credit card number. See the image below for an illustration.
The card security code helps validate that the customer placing the online order actually has the credit card in his/her possession, and that the credit/debit card account is legitimate.
Tip: To ensure successful orders, make sure the billing address you enter in the shopping cart matches the billing address on your credit card statement.
Globally Accepted Payment Methods
- American Express
- If you pay by eCheck on PayPal (directly from a bank account), it will take 3-4 days for your eCheck to clear and for the status of your account to show Paid.
Country-Specific Payment Methods
The availability of additional payment methods is determined by the currency in which you are shopping as well as the shipping address entered during checkout.
Note: Lulu is a US company. Your bank may impose a foreign transaction fee in addition to the purchase price.
