I know it seems like it may be more profitable to have higher shipping cost, I believe it to psychologically prevent people from buying their books more. This is due to seeing the high cost of shipping. People really don't believe they are saving even when issued a coupon when upon checkout they see this extremely high cost of shipping (this is a psychological thing) p

Wow, what an extremely rude response to such an innocent comment when asked for suggestions. I thought I was being helpful. What a lesson for people in how "not" to interact with customers.

I do not work for Lulu, and my point was not rude but valid. It is a very old suggestion which used to be constantly mooted about in the forums (not so much now) and Lulu do try to find cheaper ways of shipping, but Lulu do not print or ship the goods. Also, get a free Lulu ISBN and your book/s will end up on Amazon who often have cheaper or even free shipping.
