I've been at this for over 2 weeks, read all the instructions, have tweeked my Word file countless times and keep getting back pdf's that are just slightly off on a hand full of pages. This is frustrating!! Does anyone have this down? HELP!!!

What you need to do is look in your original file to see why some pages are RIGHT, and set the rest the same :-) Look at all the 'hidden' defaults for a start.

PS: do not use a template because many of the settings may not be what you want and if you do not know how to change them, then the template will simply cause more tears.

I ran into a problem when I first uploaded my 6x9 that I was using hard returns instead of page breaks on my word doc. It caused a lot of white space at the bottom of some pages. Also, check you margins. Make sure they are at least .5. Check gutter settings too. See link below.

Hope it helps. Hang in there.:smileyhappy:

As this is the eBook Publishing board - are we singing on the same hymn sheet.
Are questioners talking about PDF eBooks or EPUBs?

Re: repeated problems formatting

I think people are becoming forum section header blind, or they are clicking one of the Help links that's aimed at some posting about it in the forum, that is already in the wrong area.
