Is there possibility of multimedia EPUB in the future?

I know this is not some new idea, but I would realy like to see on Lulu the possibility of embedding audio and video files to epub. Does anybody know if there is some chance that in future Lulu will have this option. Beside this, Lulu is perfect to me, but it would be really great, because than we could make even more cool content for apple itunes store. Thanks.

It's just a case of waiting for the final approval of the EPUB 3 standard.

Hopefully fairly soon.

Hi Guys,

Currently we do not have a set time for when this will be launched. The engineering team has stated the following only:

"Lulu currently uses EpubCheck 1.2. and this only supports EPUB2.

EpubCheck 3.0 (which supports EPUB3) is in Beta 4 and is being recommended for validation.

Use of this validation tool is under investigation. If the investigation and testing is successful
