Hi,
Here's me thinking I was almost at the end of preparing an epub when I came across something that I can't fathom.
I use Word 2007 and in this particular story, one of a collection, all the dashes (the long ones - ens I believe is their Sunday name) have become question marks in the downloaded epub. As far as I can see, one story is 100% wrong I have checked thoroughly) and there are odd instances in others but I haven't finished checking them all yet.
Any advice would be very welcome.
Aitch.

Ken,
A little extra info.
The one story I referred to is completely wrong - otherwise, as far as I can see, there are just 3 instances in two stories, so its not an epidemic. These all can easily be corrected by using a hyphen instead of a dash and the transfer to epub is then correct. I have tested this with a fresh download and it works.
I will regard the blips as 'something that happens' and make the corrections, so my immediate problem is solved.
Naturally, I assume you will still be puzzling yourself about it, so if you want more - copies of originals, etc - I would be pleased to help.
As ever, thank you for your interest.
Harry

The keyboad is UK bought (PCWorld) and its only connection with Spain is that it is being used over here. It hasn't been repaired over here or anything like that.
A basic question remains. I can't work out how to send you the Adobe downloaded epub. Please explain.
Cheers.
Harry
