Cannot upload eBook Marketing Image :(

I am a first time user. I have been trying to publish my new eBook using the Safari browser. When I try to design my marketing image, I can't upload my own picture. The lulu template pictures work fine, but when I try to upload my own I get this error before I can click accept: "There was a problem trying to upload your picture. Please try again, or visit Lulu Support."

I have tried both 2550px x 3300px (which is the size of the template images) and 612 px x 792 px (which is what lulu recommends).

Has anyone had this problem before, or have a clue how to solve it?

The image MUST BE 612px * 792px.
72, 96 or 150dpi.

Try using another Browser. Must of these type of problems are Browser related.

You can also try Stepping Back tow stages in the Publishing Wizard and the step forward again to the Cover stage.

Lulu's servers are slow and old and often get confused :-)

I am having the same issue.  I followed your directions and went back a couple of steps (several times).  I had to change the title on my cover & now I am having problems with the picture being accepted.  I changed it to 612 * 792 pixels, and it is indicated on the box that shows the image that the pixel count is correct.  But, the problem is, when I hit the Accept button, nothing happens.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  This is very frustrating.

I have gone back two steps at least 5 times. I'm not sure how to use another browser.  Is that something you could help me with?

If you are using Internet Explorer switch it to compatabilty mode.
