Lulu allows authors to create eBooks in two formats:
For more information about accessing these types of eBooks, see Download eBooks from the Lulu Marketplace to an iPad or Nook.
Prior to January 15, 2013, a Lulu author may have chosen to apply Digital Rights Management (DRM) protection to their PDF or EPUB. If so, the file must be initially accessed using a registered copy of Adobe Digital Editions (ADE), a free downloadable application that is different from the widely used Adobe Reader.
ADE allows users to authorize up to six devices (PC, laptop, and mobile) on which DRM protected eBooks can be accessed and read. iOS and Android devices require the use of downloadable apps such as the free Bluefire reader to access DRM protected eBooks.
For more information about accessing DRM Protected PDF and EPUB files, see Download eBooks with DRM Protection.
