Re: How do I Upload A Cover to Final Project?

It's weird that from a topic ''The making' of a Book Cover Design', this has became a 'How do I Upload A Cover to Final Project?'

Indeed Michael, but if we suggest that people have hi-jacked a thread and are even in the wrong area, we get told off for being 'rude'.

Cost of Book Question

Hello,

I finally published my book!  My only lingering question is regarding the book price:

I want to sell it for $4.00 and I see that in the profile when going to "Buy" my book. But when trying to buy it, it seems like it only costs $1.24. I also see something that says .99 and "Download for Free."

How much is my book really selling for and what are these mixed messages?

Thanks for your help.

Kyle

Hi Kyle,

In the future, you might want to start a new thread for specific questions like this, rather than posting to an older, unrelated thread.

If you click My Lulu > My Projects, and click on the title of your book, you can scroll down to the section that says "Pricing & Creator Revenues" to find a detailed breakdown of the price of your book. You will see the retail price (that customers pay), and the price that you would pay, as the author (My Price). For even more information about pricing, click the "Edit" button and then the "Details" link. $1.24 is likely the base price of your eBook. You can change the price by entering your desired amount ($4.00) in the box.

If you click the "View/Buy" link next to your title, you will be taken to your product page. As the author, this page looks different to you than it does to customers; the blue bar at the top is only visible to you, when you are logged into your account. The "Buy Ebook" button and price that you see is the price that you would pay, as the author, to place an order for your eBook. However, since you are the author you are also able to download the eBook file for free any time, and you can do that via the Download (Free) link on this page.

You can click the link to "See this page as your customers do" to remove the blue box.

I hope this clears things up!

Re: Cost of Book Question

Can you tell me how and when I will receive my revenue? I have sold more than 26 copies and I am told my revenue is about £26 but I haven't provided details of a bank account so how am I going to receive that money? What do I need to do next?

Re: Cost of Book Question

Hi,

As I said above, you should create a new thread rather than posting your question to an older, unrelated thread. To do this, select the appropriate board from the following page, and click the New Message button:

http://connect.lulu.com/t5/Discuss/ct-p/forums_kb

In order to receive your creator revenue, you must submit your remittance information. You can do this by clicking My Lulu, and scrolling down until you see the My Account heading on the left. Click "Change Remittance Information". Select either PayPal or paper checks as your method of payment, and enter the necessary information. For information on when creator revenues are paid, please see this article:

No matter what, I'm 'glad' that my thread is expanding rapidly. :womanlol:
