Dear lulu.com

I think it would be a very wise idea if your business was to get a phone number so customers or publishers have questions they can get ahold of you a lot easier

It's a free site, what is it you wish to know?

Use Live Chat

Videotron here in Canada has a "call me back"  service. Createspace also offers almost immediate  telephone assistance. I think it would wise for Lulu to make that option available as well.

I have no idea who Videotron is, but Createspace is owned by Amazon who are vastly cash rich and no doubt already have 1000s in a call centre just in general to deal with everything Amazon.

I wish that I had a Mars bar for each time that this is suggested.

I must admit when i first started with Lulu 2 years ago, I was very fustrated at the thought they didn't have a phone number! (unless you buy a package, then u got 1 call from a rep) however when my first problem arose, I used the live chat (rolling my eyes the whole time) But wait! The live chat worked and has been working for me ever sense.

So the need for that live 1-800 # has gone away. I feel the longer you stay with Lulu the more u realize the forums really help because everybody seems to have the same issues sometimes. My emails have gotten answered in less than 24 hours as well.

Exactly, need a phone!

Live chat, waste of time.

Just had to muddle through alone.

Will not recommend LuLu to anyone.

Keep in mind that Lulu is in one time zone and the rest of the world in 100s of time zones, Lulu's site users are almost world-wide, so it would cost a fortune for Lulu to run a 24/7 phone help line for what is after all a free site.

But for help and problems, as D Berger says, there are always the forums you know, which are there all the time.
