How comes that the interior of Lulu books present plain white paper (what is defined as "Stantard - Lulu Traditional")? Plain, odorless white paper makes the book look like a pile of photocopy papers bound together...

May I suggest the use of publishing grade paper for more formats? US Letter and Digest simply do not cover all needs and besides, the impossibility of obtaining an ISBN for this type of paper greatly limits the choice of authors...

Please provide an answer.

Your dedicated customer and author,

Authors in the US store can now choose cream colored paper for both their paperback and hardcover formats.

I think Lulu should review the colour of the stock it uses for paperbacks. It is far too white and this is more associated with corporate literature and photocopies than the off white coloured stock found in most book store paperbacks. Not only would this give the resulting product more credibility but the reader experience would be improved.

it ought to be noted on the booksizes page that there are different kinds of papers involved in the various binding choices.

I ordered a number of hardcover casewraps , and one hardcover dustjacket. I was surprised that the quality of paper in the casewraps feels really generic and cheap where as the paper in the dustjacket book is a nice cream color. it would be very helpful to have known this before ordering the casewraps, I would have made them all dustjackets.
