It would be great if I could just put ONE LULU Buy book button on my website and have it open to one page on Lulu where a customer could either choose the hardcopy book or the ebook rather than having to put TWO ICONS on my website, one for ebook purchase and one for hardcopy of the book.
Thanks.
Mary
The 'Buy Now' button is designed to help your website visitor to buy a specific product, placing the product straight into their cart once they've made the decision to buy.
I don't understand why you would want a 'buy now' button to do anything else?
If you want to direct people to your storefront, then use a button that says "visit my store" or similar, then your customer can choose their format from there.
I would always advise keeping the number of clicks between your product and your customer's wallet to a minimum though....
Click on Promote under My Projects. You will see something like this:
<a href="http://www.lulu.com/commerce/index.php?fBuyContent
Paste this into the back end page of yoru website and it will appear as a button on which clients can click and purchase your book.
Have a look how I do it. Click my banner below.
