The ISBN barcode one can download on the ISBN page of the publishing wizard and the ISBN barcode placed on the back cover of a cover made using the new cover wizard are not 1.833" x 1". Changing these barcodes to 1.833" x 1" changes the proportions of the barcode. To get an ISBN barcode that can be sized to 1.833" x 1", one must use the barcode creator at http://www.tux.org/~milgram/bookland. Could the one piece cover instructions indicate that:
1. 1.833" x 1" is the correct ISBN barcode size to use when making a one piece cover.
2. 1.833" x 1" refers to the size of barcode itself, not the border dimensions of the image containing the barcode.
3. One cannot resize barcodes available from Lulu. Rather, one must generate a barcode at milgram to create a barcode that can be scaled to 1.833" x 1".
4. The barcode must be located in the white space on the back cover that is shown in the back cover template for the book size one is making.

Lulu barcodes can be resized and there is no reason why they should not be used.
The barcode may be placed any where on the back cover although it is normal to be somewhere in the lower right part of the cover.
