Customization in arranging books in a specific order needed on new "spotlight" storefronts

With the old storefronts, we could put all the books on
the page in the order we want them. Now we don't have that option with the new
storefront. I write a lot of series' and I want all my series books to be
listed together. Can't you put that option back? I really don't like that these
just come up my rating or relevance (whatever that means), whatever. I
preferred to choose how they come up. The new spotlight pages are very
inflexible...although I admit I like it better than the old. I just wish it was
more customizable.

I guess your suggestion is for Lulu to give more author control on the Spotlight. There are dozens of threads on this specific topic/complaint and we are hoping that Lulu is responding accordingly and sorting out improvements.

Hi Karen, thanks for the suggestion. Providing the ability to customize the order of products within the Author Spotlight is an excellent idea, and one we'll consider for the future. Thanks for using Lulu!

Please do not consider it in the future, consider it seriously NOW. I am very frustrated with the fact I cannot arrange my books in the order I want, and I have to help people ordering the books, to make sure they find the ones they want. Please make this option available asap!

This function is very much needed. Many of us "authors" are actually managing several genres of books by teams of authors--the Naskapi Spotlight is an example. (http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/naskapi). In the old "Storefront" days, I could at least put whatever book I wanted at the top.

Better yet, when the "Groups" feature was working on the website, one could create a "Group" page upon which one could feature only certain books, for example all of our "Children's Books" or all of our "Religious Books". As it stands, some of our technical offerings (Naskapi Spelling Guidelines) are offered along side the Naskapi Bible and also books for pre-schoolers. With the "Groups" feature, I made a Naskapi Children's Book "Group" and arranged only these kinds of books in an appropriate way. It was a very useful and effective method of presenting books for this minority language group that is not available anywhere else, and I am very disappointed that it was discontinued, along with the customizable storefront.

With sufficient control over the way the "Spotlight" displays books, we may be able to meet these needs again--but going back to the "Groups" feature would be welcome too.

This suggestion was posted many many months ago ...

I do not recall any 'grouping' options in the old Storefronts though.
