Help!!! Drop Cap/Wizard issue

I have tried to do a test upload of the interior of my book, but the wizard all of the sudden says that it won't allow drop caps at this time. Does anyone have any idea what this means, or if it'll change. It worked a few days ago when I tried a test upload, but now it doesn't. Any help would be gladly accepted. Thanks for your time.

Derek, print a PDFand then upload. Your drop caps will be intact. Also, embed your fonts.

Re: Help!!! Drop Cap/Wizard issue

Thank you Maggie for your reply. I can always count on you. :smileyhappy: I took the advice of another Lulu'er and made each chapter into individual files. It has worked out so far. That is, until Lulu change the drop cap option. Honestly, I don't have or know how to make a pdf or embed fonts. Thanks again Maggie.

Have Lulu changed how the Wizards work again then? If so, why don't they tell us?

It seems to be so Kevin, at least for now.I wish they would alert us when changes are made. Maybe Cary_Penrose can shed some light.

Dunno to be honest Derek, and Cary replies to me as if I am a newbie :-)

Re: Help!!! Drop Cap/Wizard issue

We did actually make some changes to our converter recently. A few bugs have popped up and we're trying to get them sorted out asap. As far as drop caps go, we're in the process of supporting them during conversion, but for now you will have to create your own PDF if you would like to have them.

And Kevin, I know you're not a newbie :smileyhappy:

Re: Help!!! Drop Cap/Wizard issue

For someone who has already purchased your a la carte formatting services, meaning you inserted the problematic drop caps yourselves, this is unacceptable.

Re: Help!!! Drop Cap/Wizard issue

Thank you Cary for your response. I do appreciate it. Thankfully, I was just doing a test upload, so I will just wait the problem out until it is fixed. Thanks again for your help.
