I have used Calibre and Sigil to create an EPub book file which successfully passes the Threepress.org validation which Lulu suggests. Yet when I attempt to upload it to Lulu I get the error
Your EPUB failed to validate for the following reason(s):
* Contains invalid images.
We can only accept valid EPUB files.
All of the images used are jpg. The book looks and functions fine on every reader I have tried. Are there some image restrictions (size, resolution, etc) that I have not been able to locate or are there more robust EPub validation that might give me more of an idea of where my issue lies? Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.

Did you ever get this resolved? I just wonder what the fix is.

Make sure the images are less than about 750 X 450-ish, the nook and the ipad have different resolutions.
Also your images might just not look good (blurry), the resolution should be at least 90dpi, but you can go as high as 150 dpi.
The exact specs for images are in the Epub info file up here on Lulu.
I have the same issues, I have done some ebooks but none of them have made it to the Apple store or the Nook, yet they pass every epub test there is.
It is frustrating, indeed.
