Adding blank lines to text. Help please.

Hi All,

I've just uploaded to ePub and there were some changes made automatically. The main one is removing extra blank lines. However, I would like those lines blank as I'd like the start of each chapter to be part way down the page.

How do I achieve this?

If you are using Word to create the EPUB you will find that blank lines and blank spaces are removed. 
To space out lines you must create specific Paragraph Styles to do so.

I am indeed using Word. What I'm trying to do is to start the chapters part way down the page so that 'Chapter 1' is followed by a few blank lines and then the main body of text starts.

I'm sorry to ask, but could you let me know how to do this?

You have to create specific Paragraph Styles.
