My my what a huge advert, and not even for your book.
So how many people listen in then?
BTW. You did not point out that it is a 'Christian' place.

If you want to charge us to plug our books on your website (hardly radio is it?) then surely you should be paying Lulu to plug your service on their website!

Kevin, is it?
Look, I do have a few books on Lulu.com. Check out my spotlight page, http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/iaintlukewarm
The advertisement for LUTG RADIO is to help unknown artists whether writers, singers, muscians, comedians, poets, preachers or public speakers. Yes, this is a Christian Radio station but what's the big deal every other radio station on the dial and online is secular and they do not say "Hey we're a secular radio station". Get over it Kevin. If you want to participate without spreading hate great, if not crawl back into your hate box and call for another to help you out.
Do you love the rhyme, Listen live daily 12pm -3pm, oh its Christian Rap and Secular Rock, oh my!

No Peter
I actually have access to lulu.com because I publish via lulu.com and I as far as I know am one of the cheapest places to advertise. Its different if you say hey I do not have the money can we work out something. But you are hating while I am trying to offer something to anyone who wants it. Please stop hating and do the research. $25 is cheap for a radio ad. Use it as an opportunity to get publicity. It use to be that writers worked together and not against one another. You are still welcome to the offer if you so choose. Have a great day.

Lovely lace
$25 for even one week of advertising is not a hijack. Lulu charges several hundred dollars for marketing which they do a very good job at promoting books. But outside of Lulu.com the cost of advertising in a newspaper is $25 for one day min. to $39 for 5 lines, radio ads are minimum $1000.00, television ads are several thousand dollars for min of 15 seconds depending on the time of day and program the ad may run which will increase the cost of placing the ad.
So, please stop hating. I only offered this to give assistance to any writer that may want to participate. I can not speak for anyone else but I am working on improving sales across the board. I also offer artists the opportunity to have their music played on air for free along with assistance to promote their next gig. So to charge for advertising is not robbery.

ok, try doing a 15 second spot on youtube and see how much you can say in 15 seconds. You can say a lot in 15 seconds. As with all writers I wish you well in your writing and sales. Yes, I am a Christian and Jesus is for all. Ain't no hating here. God bless you.
