One teeny tiny comment about the dog picture: when I look at it the picture is out of focus and pixilated. Any chance you can get a better picture of the dog? Also, different dogs for different categories? If you are using anything other than a JPG a lot of sites cannot be read from different browsers.

The picture looks that way on purpose.. I think there is one or two places with a diferent picture, and yes they are all .pgs.
Her name, by the way was Winnie.

oh.. and yes.. not sure of a different dog for each section (maybe?) but certainly am considering different dogs, but also like that Winnie is THE bookdoggie dog.

Sounds like it might be time to break out the camera and some doggie costumes for Winnie! Strike a pose, puppy!

I wish I could! The Winnie worm is no longer with us. That doesnt mean there wont be more dog pictures, but I do want to get the site up and running at full steam before I can direct attention to things like that.
providing the money i sent to my paypal goes through I'll start advertising the site using Yahoo (only people who will take my money) next week and hopefully start drawing in people to start selling all those awesome books people have submitted.
It really has been exciting to get such a great response from all the writers!

Just a quick update for everyone. I have made inquiries about lulu's 'partner program'.
If I can make it fit with the 'spirit' and over all independence of bookdoggie it might add an extra service for people and maybe provide the revenue I need to keep the site going and growing.
The devil, as always, is in the details, so we'll see if I can fit it into bookdoggie and still keep bookdoggie being bookdoggie. (if that makes any sense)
I'll keep you all updated!
