Hi authors,
A good idea for drawing attention to your book is getting an Author Central page. Sign up here:
https://authorcentral.amazon.com/gp/landing/187-12
Then, with your Amazon account, proceed to post reviews of books that you like. Your name will be linked to your own books.
It's a good and honest way to drive traffic.
PS. You must have really read the books you are reviewing.
Good luck!

Not all your works will be linked to you. When I signed up for one, I had to search Amazon and add my other two works (I have four titles, but only three are available on Amazon) to my profile manually. It would certainly help get exposure though. Good post.

Maggie
You are an absolute star as I was literally wondering about this half an hour ago but could not find any info on Amazon.
I have just created my profile.
There is also info on this link on how to offer the Search Inside feature to potential customers.

You can also have a basic Amazon page where you upload your book images and link them (I believe link them--if I remember correctly.)
One more thing is you can now link your Amazon Central page to your blog and Twitter account.
Have fun!

Yeah - I have already linked in with my wordpress blog. It's great.
I also plan to add a long review once the first is published in a few days time.
