Can I sell my book on eBay if I have authorizes Lulu to distribute it through Amazon

Hi.  I self-published my book, "The Little Pink Book of Cancer Cartoons" (a collection of witty and ironic cartoons to amuse anyone who has been diagnosed and/or treated for breast cancer) and authorized its distribution by way of Amazon.  Can I also direct sell the book in other venues like say, eBay, on my own website and to hospital gift shops, or does my agreement with lulu prohbit such activities?

Of course you can. You just Lulu as a printer and handle all the sales yourself. I sell hundreds of books each year this way.

Indeed you ca, it's your book, you are the publisher, even with a Lulu ISBN.

Direct sell is a different matter and can be a bit dear though because you first have to buy your books and have them shipped to you, then you have to ship them out, and POD is already a dear system. Try my example.

In theory, no, in reality, yes. With a Lulu ISBN that ISBN notes Lulu as the publisher from whom to obtain the books (as they also have them printed, or hold the files) but it is us who create the books, so, yes, we are really the publishers. I never even mention Lulu in my books or elsewhere and the links from my own site do not aim at Lulu. :-)

I thought with Lulu ISBN, Lulu becomes the publisher? Can you please clarify? Can you still publish with another printer if you have your own ISBN, even though you already printed with Lulu? Thank you for your replies.

Yes you can. It's your copyright. You just cannot use a Lulu ISBN anywhere else.
