I've recently listed a few books on Amazon, that went live this week. If customer X buys a book, how soon do I find out through lulu that a copy has sold. I notice that books sold on lulu.com update straight away, which is understandable, but how long would it be for Amazon sales?
Cheers, Mark

I don't think there is an exact time, but it will be something like six weeks in arrears. Expect a sales update on Lulu on the 16th of each month.
Lulu Help info says
Lulu receives monthly statements of off-site retail sales for books with Distribution. These sales can take 6 to 8 weeks to post in your account.

There are indirect ways of tracking sales information on amazon.com and the other amazons, as they do update the sales rank as soon as they make a sale. If you search on Google you will find a number of websites which claim that they can keep track of sales (in units of books sold) once you feed your book's Amazon link to them. Note that this will keep track of a particular item only after you enter its data, and will not have records of previous ranks or sales. For instance, you can try www dot novelrank dot com, but there may be others which are better.

Thanks! I've previously signed up to both the .com and .co.uk authorcentral sites. Does anyone rate these sites much?

Hello!
Lulu receives monthly statements of off-site retail (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.) sales for books with Distribution (printed books). These sales can take 6 to 8 weeks to post in your account. Retail sales appear in your account as one consolidated cart per retail channel (as if one customer bought all the copies). To see your retail sales, go to the Creator Revenues section of your account. Click the Detail link at the top of the report to see available information. For more information, please see our Creator Revenue FAQ:
