Purchasing a distribution option - option not present

This FAQ explains how to purchase a distribution package, but I don't have that link showing up. There's nothing under the "ISBN" column at all. I fairly recently purchased an ISBN for my book through Bowker, added the ISBN and EAN on my book's copyright page at the very bottom, and attempted to purchase the "Global Reach" option, but I don't see how. I want to get the "Global Reach" option.

Normally you'd go to your “My Projects” list rather than your Dashboard in My Lulu (as the relevant link won't show up in the Dashboard area), this project should be at the top of the list as it was the most recently revised or if it's your first project.

Under the “ISBN” column (which is on the right hand side of the table and the column closest to the round icons, and columns, for “Promote”, “Buy”, “Revise”, “Delete”), you should see in that column a link with the words “Purchase distribution package” – click that and it will take you to the shopping cart to choose either ExtendedReach ($0) or GlobalReach ($75). The $75 GlobalReach is the one you want if you want your book available at other online retailers as well as Amazon.com.

If I remember your project correctly it is eligible and it may be that there's a bug.

The option you want to choose is the My ISBN or Distribution option and you'll also need to reply to the automatically generated email that you receive.

Hello Ulillillia,
A co-worker in Distro explained to me that you haven't actually assigned the ISBN you received from Bowker to your project yet. He explained that you'll need to revise it and assign it before you have the option to purchase distribution.

When is the forced price increase to take effect? Currently, I can't sell my book at the current $12.95 price - it's less than the minimum retail price. Does the required price increase take effect upon purchasing the distribution plan? Does it take effect when I approve of the required proof copy? I need to know so that potential customers can still have a chance at the current low price and so they know when the price is expected to increase to the target $19.95 that I intend on using for distribution.

I don't know the answer to that. It would probably be best to contact support in this case.
