Problem publishing an ebook

I’m planning on making an ebook in a few weeks and thought I’d have a dry run with the tutorial video at http://connect.lulu.com/t5/Video-Tutorials/Video-on-How-to-Publish-a-Book/ta-p/31793

I had the video running alongside the actual Lulu system by using 2 browsers.

Filling in the Title and Author page was fine. The next video page showed how to choose Paper Size, Colour, Binder etc, BUT this was not shown on the Lulu project.It went straight to the Uploading page. 

Following  the video,I uploaded my file, and the tab showing My File and My Project Files turned orange, but the “Make Print Ready File” tab would not highlight, therefore I could not get through to the Conversion stage.

Has anyone any ideas please.

You seem to be a bit confused here, an e-book does not have >>  The next video page showed how to choose Paper Size, Colour, Binder etc, you are looking at the Book wizard video

Ah, I see what you mean. I missed that one.

Is there a video on  publishing ebooks. I've had a look round site but can't find one

I assume that Lulu do not think that one is needed. Most e-books are a simple 'old-school' text file because e-books do not really have 'pages' etc. The hardest task perhaps is creating a type of file that Lulu's e-book wizards can actually use. What Internet Browser are you using? I have used IE7, Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and all work fine in those. I guess it is an issue with the browser settings.

Ensure that you have the latest flash pluggin installed for the browser in your computer.

Also, try deleting cookies and temp files and check.
