Preview, Publish and then Lulu Crashes

I have now tried a number of times to preview and publish my work and get to about page 20 or so, and then I get the message that we have a problem and must close the site.
I have tried it on 4 different computers, tried Internet Explorer as well as Firefox and both of them crash on me.
This is very frustrating, and I do hope some members of Lulu may have a solution for me.
If you do, would you please post it?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem with the publish tab/watch just spinning for hours and hours... no effect.
How to get past this option?

Well, I think it took someone from Lulu over a week to reply. Service isn't really existing here.
What I ended up doing was just click quickly through the month and then hit publish, but I also prayed to all the gods!
But I made sure that I liked what I saw as I put the book together. Now, I am still awaiting my copy of the book and really hope for the best

Sadly, Lulu seem to have a very good product, just a real shame they have no customer service.
Mind you, I still have not seen my copy yet, and I am almost terrified that something is wrong and I paid for nothing.
But lets hope it all works out ok...

I too have a problem with publishing my project. The little timer just spins ans spins and nothing is happening. Lulu is not service oriented. Even the videos don't work. I can't get any sound on their publish photobook video. I would like to get some of my books done so I could make some money and maybe some for lulu.

I am waiting for a solution from LULU on this problem after two email requests:

I've created two 100+ page photo books. ONe published successfully and is on order. The other will not pubish on a Mac or PC. It gets caught up in all browsers in the publishing wizard, meaning I click on "publish" and Lulu is not able to move forward.

Any ideas out there? I hope that my hours of work are not lost here. I've already missed the Holidays ordering window.

I understand your concern that you are having trouble in publishing your project. Please note that this error can be caused due to a period in the server response (timeout) due to a busy server or a slower connection. Retrying later can help solve the problem.

If you are still unable to publishing your project, Please get back to us with your Project ID and Title. We will be happy to assist you.

I feel for you, i had exactly the same problem (as you know) and the same (useless) staff member contacted me with exactly the same response. Which makes me wonder if it really is a person, or just some email rubbish-automatic-response that they have.

I think it is a real shame they can not get that problem fixed, because I would love to recommend Lulu for something good, but I am afraid of doing so for the problems I encountered, and Lulu's lack of commitment towards customers.

If you are encountering this error, please be sure to SAVE your project when you are done editing before attempting to publish (to avoid any lost changes).

Here are some steps you can take...
- Ensure Javascript is enabled
- If you happen to be using Firefox and have Firebug, please post any errors reported by Firebug.
- If it seems to be spinning forever, click "Edit" and to go back. You can then attempt to preview and publish once again.


If none of this helps, please provide your operating system and browser. Additionally please provide the content id of the affected CID. I can't guarantee things posted here will be looked at before Christmas, but I will do my best to take a look at your projects and see if I can pinpoint the issue. Unfortunately it does not seem to be widespread, which makes tracking it down more difficult.
