I am trying to upload a 180Mb .pdf for a document
I have:
1. Uploaded from my PC from the project content creation page 5 times.
2. Uploaded fro my PC with WS_FTP 4 times, only having the message "file does not exist" or "Could not obtain document size, document creatiion aborted."
3. Uploaded to another site and then to Lulu. The document transfers and dissappears (yes, I know, it is moved after upload). But it does not appear on the Lulu files list
4. Is there any other way except for using a runner cleft stick and a CDROM?

Please someone (anyone) help, this is getting urgent

I uploaded a project, "Two Dozen Donuts" last night and the conversion worked well, but I discovered I needed to make a correction. I've been trying to revise the project but it returns error and terminates the upload. I then tried to delete the project and start a new one, but itstill won't upload. Tried FTP and it still shows the file I uploaded for the old project. I could not delete it FTP and the project does not show on MyFiles list. Is it stuck somewhere ? I'm a little frustrated because I'm ready to publish but am getting now where. Can you help?
Please advise.

i´ve experienced 2 problems:
via ftp:files dont show in "my files". and now i cant even log in (as other users: id error)
via upload-browse for files. when i click "browse for files" they internet browser crashes
any idea? i can do nothing cause i cant upload any file

Hi Istvan,

no I haven't tried that, but I am definitely getting the impression that Lulu is getting overloaded, as questions simply don't get replies at all any more.

I watched a programme last week on upload times from broadband connections, and nowhere didi it say that an upload would take anything like the 6-7 hours mine are taking, although I accept that my speed 605 is maybe not the fastest - but it is the only one offered by my service provider.

I suppose one must persevere, and of course the free bit is relevant, but at the end of the day, it IS the service being offered, isn't it?

I am now getting extremely cautious about buying the planned distribution packages i had in mind - certainly after seeing the problems others are having.

I am trying to find hep with editing my poetry book I cant affords to pay to have someone do it besides i am a trained proof reader but I cant figure out how to correct some simple spelling errors in the titles of my poems

Can you please tell me how to work the FTP so I can get my revised books uploaded and approve them. I published my books last year, all I wanted was some better and wider distribution. I bought ISBN's and the books were wrong. I have come to correct them and approve them but I can't even upload them. It uploads but the make print ready button stays the same. I was told to do and FTP, I became a member of both now what do I do from there? Please help I am so frustrated.

Hi Adam, I have retired most of my previous Poster books and have re-constructed them as .pdf and 300 dpi as I hope to get going on full distribution packages soon.
However, although I have 'successfully' transferred pdf files to My Files ( they are listed there), when I try to upload them to a project I am told they do not exist, so naturally I cannot proceed.
Also getting 'files corrupted' messages. Altogether I am at a halt and I have 12 books to produce.
