Curious to know if basically "anything" I place inside the printable area/margins of my MS Word document, is this going to print AS-IS or how it appears after I have converted to a PDF?
Basically I have a book that is 6"x9" US Trade, and the margins are formatted for bleed within MS Word at 6.25" x 9.25".
I placed a shape on the pages of each beginning chapter that is "Filled" with a high resolution image I created in Photoshop.... esseentially it's just a side border. I did it this way because I'm unaware of how to make a single page have a true background image, without the whole document acquiring this image. Thus, I used a Shape wth Fill.
This shape is strectched over the page edges, so as I understand it, Lulu will print the pages to bleed since they are in fact formatted for bleed with .125 all the way around. Guess I was just curious to see if this is okay, and make sure Lulu's process won't think it odd a shape is in an area ment for text, and throw it out of whack.
Sample is attached.

Thanks for the response.
I (think) the images are available for view now. In any case, I guess I'll have to wait for a proof to be certain. Thanks for the tid-bit!
