Re: Item still in "Fulfilling"

Hello All,
Those of you who have posted in the Support Escalation forum are already aware of this, but I thought it would be best to post here as well, in case anyone else was concerned.

We are now in the midst of the holiday season and due to the increase in order volume we are experiencing delays in production times. If your order was placed before the holiday shipping deadlines (http://www.lulu.com/en/help/shipping_faq), you will receive your order before December 25th. If necessary, we will expedite shipping to ensure you receive your order in time.

I hope this helps to put your mind at ease.

Best wishes & season's greeting!
Carol

Re: Item still in "Fulfilling"

Thank you Carol for the response. While speaking for myself, I think I will echo many of the sentiments in here. I understand things may be delayed and I truly appreciate your efforts to try and get me my order by 12/25. However, all this complaining could have been avoided if I had gotten this type of response in the beginning, instead of the same exact form letter 3 times from 2 separate customer service representatives over 4 days. Not only that; but after the responses I got, my issues were marked as "closed" and "resolved" without even being told anything other than you we're busy, be patient, and your order is being fulfilled. It made me feel as if you did not care about me or my order and I was just a number. It also made me very upset to be worthy of only a form letter before my issue was dismissed and reasonably jump to the conclusion that not only would I not receive my order in time; but I might not get it at all.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to communicate this information to me and wish your regular customer service avenues would have taken a more personal approach like this. With this, I will consider this issue closed unless I don't receive my calendars next week. Thanks again and I look forward to receiving my order shortly. Best wishes on a happy holiday season.

I hope you're right Carol but the proof is in the pudding and I'll belive it when I see that box full of calendars at my door. When I see that before December 25th my mind will be at ease. As of now, I'm still in the "Fulfilling" mode. When my calenders get here, I'll post up with some praise.

Re: Item still in "Fulfilling"

Well, my order took AGES to prepare as I had to find 36 high quality images of exactly what I needed.

When I checked the shipping FAQ the christmas shipping schedule wasnt there ( I assure you of that as I checked a number of times)

Now conveniently it has popped up and it says Calendars in the UK

Priority Mail December 11
Ground December 16
Express December 17

There is no option for just MAIL, which is what I chose and I placed my order on the 11th.

So when will I get my calendar?

Order number 3782474

Is there any option to upgrade the shipping or something? As this has turned into a disaster.

If any mods check my account you will see that I created a book a few years back and the printers screwed it up over and over and it was absolute hell trying to get it fixed. I came back here hoping things had improved.

PLEASE could someone tell me if I will get my order before xmas? It MUST be here, so if I have to go elsewhere and get another one printed, then I will have to.

Thank you to anyone that can give me an answer.

Re: Item still in "Fulfilling"

Carol,

Sorry to bang on but this calendar is VERY important to me.

As i mentionned the xmas shipping info wasnt there.

In your link you posted

http://www.lulu.com/en/help/shipping_faq

it IS

BUT if you click the 'shipping deadlines' link at the top of the lulu site, it takes you to

http://www.lulu.com/uk/help/shipping_faq

(different link)

And this does NOT have the xmas deadlines on, so for me to lose my calendar is REALLY unfar, don't you think?? Thats the page i visited several times.

Re: Item still in "Fulfilling"

Carol has answered the general situation here. Any continuing issues should be dealt with through the Support Escalation process, so this thread is being locked. This forum is not routinely monitored by Lulu staff.

A side note to Gary, responses are not instantaneous, in the forums or through e-mail. Sorry if that doesn't work for you but that is simply how it is. If your order was placed before the deadlines relevant to your shipping address, product and shipping method, then it has been stated the order is expected to be delivered on time.
