Lulu says it will generate and place the ISBN bar code on the back cover if you use the old 2 piece method of cover creation. I ordered a proof copy (and I had inserted the ISBN on the back side of the Title page in the pdf of my book that I had uploaded), but the proof copy did not fill in a bar code.
So, when I revised, I got a bar code and pasted it onto my jpeg file for the back cover. This time, the new proof printed the bar code I provided.
My concern, and question, is whether Lulu will eventually try to insert its own generated bar code on this cover which it will generate from the front and back cover files I uploaded or whether it will see that I already have a bar code on my back cover file.
I suppose I could delete my bar coded back cover file, and upload one with blank space to see if Lulu will put their bar code on it, but actually I prefer the one I created because it is not as huge as the one Lulu put on my previous books.[/b">
