Childrens book format

I want to publish a size A4 hardcover or if not possible then paperback childrensbook. But as I choose A4 it says it needs to be a minimum of 68 or so pages. As it is a childrens picture book I need only about 15 pages. Is that possible and if so how, or is there another good alternative?

A good alternative is 6x9. You'll have more distribution options everywhere. It can be saddle-stitch for 15 pages, but I highly recommend you make it longer.

With such a book you can leave all left hand pages blank, too. Note that if you opt for full colour, though, it is very expensive and you will even be charged for blank pages as 'full colour'.
