Hi Everyone,
So I have published my first hardcover book. I initially made my book private as I worked through the revisions to ensure that the book content and one page cover was ready for publication. I made that decision after receiving my third proof earlier this week. Unfortuantely, I am not able to locate a place to add my own personal ISBN to the Lulu listing and subsequently purchase the globalReach distribution so that it can be made available on amazon.com as well as Barnes & Noble and other brick and mortar bookstores.
Here is the page that my book is currently listed on through Lulu Marketplace only:
Any help that anyone could provide to me with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!

Try going to the very beginning to see if you are given the option of public vs private again.
If not, start a new project, select "I have my own ISBN" and proceed. You must then add the barcode to your cover. You can do this in Photoshop, print a PDF and upload that as a finished one-piece.

Hi Maggie,
I was hoping to avoid this, since that would require that I order another proof and approve the proof before I can order globalReach distribution.
I have actually not done a final approval on the last proof for my current book yet? I am waiting on the order to be shipped. Do you think that this could be what is not allowing me to enter an ISBN?
Thanks so much for your help!

Hi mdbrowning,
Maggie is correct; you will need to revise your book to add the ISBN. Open a new draft and navigate to the Start step of the publishing wizard. Select the third option to get an ISBN and sell your book everwhere. This will prompt the wizard to add the ISBN step, where you can enter your information. Continue through the publishing wizard (clicking save & continue on all the steps) until you have published the revised book with the ISBN assigned.
Then, you can use the purple Manage link that appears next to your book in your My Projects list to assign your book a distribution package and approve a proof copy.
I hope this helps!
