ExtendedReach

Hi All,

I purchased ExtendedReach on 30th November 2011. What's the earliest I can expect my books to be available for sale on other websites? I couldn't be sure from lulu's 'help' that it was 3-5 days, then 6-8 weeks then another 6-8 weeks, or was there some sort of overlap?

Also, does a listing through ExtendedReach mean my book will be available on amazon.co.uk?

Cheers, Mark

Re: ExtendedReach

Books normally submitted to Barnes & Noble (US) and Ingram up to 6 weeks from time of purchase. Books registered with Ingram are also available for order from all good bookshops and can also be purchased direct by the retail stores for stocking on their shelves. Your book will be available on Amazon.co.uk usually within a couple of weeks from date of initial publication anyhow. Hope this helps. :-)

Please read http://connect.lulu.com/t5/Announcements/Message-to-globalREACH-Authors/m-p/147117#M1354

The published Norm is 6-8 weeks although in the last 3 months of 2011 is was actually 9-12 weeks.

My latest book was available on Amazon.co.uk the second week of December after a 9 week wait.
Copies were sold on Amazon before Christmas but now show as Not Available  - the magic of Lulu again!

Yes your books will be availble on Amazon.co.uk

When you see your books please leave some feedback as it help us provide info for future questions.

Re: ExtendedReach

Sounds good, thanks. Hopefully my first few books will be available elsewhere by the end of Jan in that case :-)

Re: ExtendedReach

Cheers Ken,

I set up the ExtendedReach on 30th Nov, so it's not unreasonable to expect to see it online by the end of the month?

Thanks, Mark

Re: ExtendedReach

As if by magic, I searched for the books on Amazon and they're there! I clock that at 5 weeks and 5 days since 'purchasing' the ExtendedReach!

Wow!

Lulu are motoring! - considering there have been the Xmas, New Year and US thanksgiving holidays in that time.

Re: ExtendedReach

I purchased extendedreach on 1st Feb and despite checking every day still no sign of my book in Amazon.co.uk.  I'm finding it really frustrating as a UK author that I cannot get my books onto my home market, yet they are available via .com from another company.

A little confusion here I think.

Extended REach is free, so your purchase cost you not a penny.

Your book is available to UK customers from the Lulu site.

It takes time for books to appear on Amazon. If your book is already on Amazon.com then be grateful because it used to take a lot longer. Your book will appear on Amazon.co.uk and other Amazon sites in due course.
