Are 'Bricks and Mortar' shops a possibility with 'Extended Reach' alone?

[ Edited ]

I have Global Reach with one of my titles, about gap years on the land and am pleased that local bookshops are now stocking 'The Practical Guide to Wwoofing 2012 - Volunteering with WWOOF' (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms'), with a little PR. After  a decade of wandering the earth, I am just publishing a new series of travel story books (15 in total) and am reluctant to buy GR for each one at the moment. I wondered if they may appear on a Bricks and Mortar wholesalers catalogue anyway, by opting for Extended Reach alone? (Specifically, with the largest UK wholesalers, 'Gardners'. Thank you. A. Short answer. No.

Long answer - unlikely even with Global.

More chance with Gartners dealing direct as publisher and buying in bulk from Lulu and selling direct to Gartners.

But they want os much discount, plus sale or return that its  hardly profitable.

If some places are already stocking one of your books, why not the rest? Ask them ...
