I use doPDG v. 7 as a print driver to create my PDFs for Lulu. It asks you if you want to embed fonts. It's also free and can be downloaded from CNET.com.
Don't give up yet!

Lightworker
Embedded fonts and the movement of the text over pages are two different issues, I believe.
The pages shifting I think are due to carriage returns being used for seperate chapters, instead of page breaks (Insert > Break > Page Break - is how to do this in Word, although you may knoe this). Then you can re-upload the Word version of the document.
The carriage returns don't translate well to PDF and this is why it scatters the work all over the place.
As for Embedding Fonts, I'm not as clear, as use fonts supported by Lulu, so I never face this problem. However, if you enbed the fonts on a PDFand upload the PDF at least the page formatting shouldn't change.
Hope I've been of some help.

I was hoping you'd try my suggestion from yesterday, Sonia. It's
1. Download free software DoPDF7 install and set as printer.
2. Open your doc. Print to DoPDF printer. It will convert to PDF and prompt to embed fonts
3. Check PDF for accuracy.
4. If okay, upload THAT PDF to Lulu.
5. Done ![]()
