I'm in the middle of the publishing process of my ebook and I need to know if I should insert the barcode in the book somewhere or if it goes on the front cover or what?
I want my book distributed everywhere I can get it distributed so I need the barcode on the book somewhere, right?
Thanks,
Lee

There is nothing on Lulu Connect that I could find indicating the answer to this. I only wonder because I was issued a barcode during the publishing process but don't know if its supposed to go into the book or not. I'd like to know for sure what the "correct" procedure is (especially since I don't really have any room left on the copyright page). I suppose I will do that should I not get a definite answer from someone who knows for sure, but I don't want to do that unless its necessary.
Thanks for your reply!

Just treat it as if it is a 'real' book, just as the Wizard does. Even put the barcode on the 'back page' if you wish, because e-books do not have a seperate wizard for covers do they? So it will not autoadd it. As you can see, from that site, many are arguing about it and have no real clue! So just stick it in, what harm can it do?

Okay, I have inserted the barcode as the last page of the book. If anyone knows of anywhere else I should insert it, please let me know.
Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate the advice. :-)

Yes, I have the isbn on the copyright page and the full barcode on the last page. Is that what you meant?
