What are the procedures for Amazon reporting books sold at its site? To date, I have not received any Creator Revenue notices, yet I know I have sold a number of books on the amazon site. I need lots of clarification here as I am rather concerned. Also, does the fact that I reside in Illinois have anything to do with the amazon situation?

I'm not sure how Amazon report it, but if you place your novel in the tracking device at www.novelrank.com, you can see what books sell

The printer which prints books for Amazon only reports sales via that channel to Lulu once a month, and Lulu then needs to report the data to each individual creator who sold a book via Amazon, so it takes 6 to 8 weeks for sales via Amazon to show up in the "my revenue" section of your dashboard.
This is explained on this help page: Creator Revenues FAQ: Why aren't my retail sales Creator Revenues showing up?
The fact that you live in Illinois has nothing to do with the printer's reporting schedule... that's how long it takes.
If you know for a fact that it's been more than 8 weeks since you sold a book on Amazon (i.e. you have the payment receipt from the person who bought the book, as well as the delivery receipt), then you should contact Lulu Support (and they will ask you for those details, the payment and delivery receipts) so that they can investigate with the printer and ask for an explanation.
