Yay I published my first poetry book!

I'm sure it's annoying when newbies come and pimp themselves out here, but...

Yay! I just published my first book of poetry! LuLu isn't perfect, but it's definitely great for having a way of putting your work together for yourself and your friends with potential to expand to a bigger market.

Super cool.

my spotlight page is at lulu.com/spotlight/misselliebeeatyahoodotcom if you're a poetry nerd.

I'm planning on putting together another book in the next few months. If anybody has any tips for newbies like me, let me know:smileyhappy:

Misselliebee, bought your book, read it...and loved it! It is dark...painfullly sarcastic...and travelled me far away and yet close enough.

Re: Yay I published my first poetry book!

I wish more people out there supported first time authors, instead of focusing solely on the already established ones. After all, famous authors were once unknown, until some people decided to give them a chance. Also, i wish more people gave a chance to poetry. I have heard people dismissing poetry altogether, without having read a single poem. I realize poetry is not for everyone, but you won't know unless you give it a try.
