What happened to the PRINT versions of my books?

Oh yes, all my projects are still there under "My Lulu" but in each case the only format listed (and available for purchase) is the PDF version of the book! There does not seem to be any way to request a PRINTED version of my books, and I can't find any method for adding that option... Wayne

In that case you have to create new Book projects for each one.

You can of course use the PDFs already uploaded as you will find them in your My Lulu, My Files area. 

BTW a link to one of your PDF books could be helpful.

Ken, I opened up one of my projects to General Access. The title of the book is "Recipes of Mary Elisabeth (Huntress) B'Rells" with Wayne B'Rells (me) as the author. The direct access number is 11641628. Interestingly, I just noticed that SOME of my books are still available in PRINT format and NOT shown as available in PDF form! When looking at my projects under "My Lulu" I notice that a different icon is displayed to the left of the book title depending on whether it is (now) available in PRINTED or PDF form.

I tried to REVISE one book to see if I could add the option of having a PRINTED version, but that did not seem possible. I really don't want to recreate 20 or so projects just to fix a lulu screw up! Can you suggest any other way of adding the PRINT option? Many thanks, Wayne

I have been using Lulu for ages for some books I order frequently, but do not sell to the general public, they are private. All my books were converted to pdf, and now some of them are not available in the original print format, I get this- Hmmm, we can't find this product. I have ordered this product frequently, and have to have it today to be ordered and shipped. What is going on? Any assistance would be appreciated. I need to know that when I need one of my texts they are readily available.

It seems that you are having EXACTLY the same problem that I'm seeing - private books that I've ordered in PRINTED form many times but now are only listed as available in PDF format! (About 1/2 of my books seem to have been "converted" in this way.) I submitted a help request to lulu some time ago but so far have only gotten an automated response. PLEASE let me know if YOU manage to find a solution to this very serious problem. (I, too, need to order a number of my books in PRINTED format ASAP.) Thanks, Wayne

Hi All,

Please make sure when you want to view your projects list that you click My Lulu > My Projects. The Dashboard view does not show the full list of projects in your account, and it does not distinguish between print books and eBooks. If you have lots of projects on Lulu, scroll down to the bottom of your projects list, and use the numbers to navigate through the pages. The projects that you have recently worked on, or created, will be listed before the older projects. If eBooks were created for you, they will be listed first, and you will need to navigate back through the list to find your print versions. 

If you are receiving the "Hmm this project is unavailable" error, you will need to contact support directly:

www.lulu.com/support

This is likely related to an issue we have identified regarding the View/Buy links not redirecting to the product pages; a support agent can provide you with a working link until the issue is resolved.

This has happened too all of my my previously bought print books too.

I'm soooooooooooo not happy with lulu.

And why should we have to remake the books like someone suggested? We didn't delete them! Lulu should not have got rid, it's pathetic.
