What does it mean, Lulus is migrating all Download products to eBook Products.

I saw a notice on my account page: "Starting September 27th we will begin migrating all Download products to eBook Products." I'm not sure what the implications of this are. Will Lulu no longer sell PDFs? Or will it sell PDFs and eBooks. Also, I thought Lulu charged to create eBooks, and I also thought it was difficult, i.e., crummy results, to convert PDFs to eBooks (if layouts were not just straight paragraphs all one format and size).

Can someone explain what Lulu is doing, how and why, and what the implications are? Thanks

Just look at those over the last 24 hours to save us repeating ourselves

All it means is that Lulu is separating the .pdf download from the print project and classifying it as an ebook project - nothing else will change - at least that is my understanding.
