Re: The New Author Spotlight - Post your comments here.

Thanks for the quick response. I went through the process of deleting my spotlight and stopped when a message said that the process is irreversible. Hopefully Lulu will make improvements and I'll hold out for that, but I'm deleting the link from my website. Instead I'll stick to the custom 'buy' buttons I have that take people past the spotlight and straight to their shopping basket.

*Sigh" This has totally ruined my day.

Re: The New Author Spotlight - Post your comments here.

The Delete Spotlight link is worrying close to View My Spotlight too!
For those of us who also have our own websites and ISBNs etc, the Spotlight is perhaps not much of a problem. My own website only links to my Spotlight if there is no alternative. I aim at my individual content on Amazon, Apple, Zazzle, where ever. Although the Previews on Lulu can be useful, so I may also aim a link direct to the Lulu page a Profile is on. (As Open in new window usually.) It would be handy if we could download those Previews to place them on our own sites though.

Re: The New Author Spotlight - Post your comments here.

Now that the PDF e-books have been updated, the Publication date ordering on my Spotlight shows the updated e-books (old and new) at the top instead of showing real publication date order.

Re: The New Author Spotlight - Post your comments here.

I am an old customer and I cannot find any way to change my E-Mail address and there is no other way to contact LuLu. I guess my next book will be with a different publisher. My name if you care is Donald Forbes and my new E-Mail address is donald.forbes83@yahoo.com

The old storefronts would also have done that, Iona, so that is nothing to do with this subject.

BTW. Do not put your email address in a forum.

How very odd. I return to reply to a 'new' only to find I have already been here and replied to it, but the question I replied to (in the above) has now been changed! Grrrr. I don't think I will reply now :-)

How old are you?

Did you bother to read any of the other posts before jumping in on a thread discussing a particular subject.

Please spend some time reading the Forum and understanding it's use.

The next you post try and use a normal size font and compose it properly.
