I just published my first picture book that focuses on a chimp who wants to be adopted by a gay couple. I am trying to reach LGBT families. I'd love to hear feedback.

Hi James,
may I suggest that you might try finding sites or groups that cater specifically for GLBT audiences and put out an appeal there, you might stand a better chance of getting feedback for your work. There is a yahoo group called quality GLBT stories and links and if you joined and posted an appeal on there it might bring you some responses from other writerss and readers.
Here's the link (in case you don't already know of it) http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Quality_GLBT_stories

I write GLBT literature as well, and I found this an excellent site to help me format my books in a way that allowed my friends, family, and even some interested readers outside those circles to view my work. I hope that you have fun on this site and congratulations on having enough dedication to finish a book.

Can't give feedback because you haven't given a link to the book, nor have you given us its title.
Suggest you do so, but user correct part of forum, Author Spotlight at http://connect.lulu.com/t5/Author-Spotlight/bd-p/s

Pip, if the title of the thread indicated you wouldn't like it, why did you click on it?
