Problems Uploading - last 24-hours

I am first time user of Lulu. My book is only 33 pages. Have already uploaded once and realized I had to change formatting and font. Made all changes and tried to upload four times in last 24-hours. "Yellow" bar reachs end with all MBs uploaded. Then it stays at that screen with just the counter ticking off the seconds. Why is it doing this?

Just tried to upload my document to "My Files on Lulu". Upload started then stopped 3/4 of the way through.

If the uploading wizard is just not working consistantly why tell people to use it?

What's going on with your systems?

That's a strange and common fault often cured by logging on and off.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm raising this issue again because in my past four attempts I have logged-out and restarted my computer before attempting to upload my file again. I have cleared my cache and run CCleaner before each new attempt. I tried again in the past 1/2 hour and the upload took the complete file but then nothing further happened..., just as in previous attempts. I got no prompt to make the file print ready.

The very first time I tried to upload this file it worked just fine, however the pdf changed formatting and font. So I created a 2nd. version in Word with the font and formatting corrected.

Why can't the wizard successfully upload this file? The file is only 40MB, 37 pages.

I have tried using both the wizard and uploading to My Files.

Try splitting the file in two and upload the two parts separately.

This is so frustrating - the response from Lulu has been very poor - in fact this problem has been going on for about a week - they just keep saying there is a problem with the system - can anyone please help with how to solve the problem - at least get a response from Lulu.

The problem is more likely to be at your end, your computer, your browser, your file.

I would like to weigh in on this.

I have repeatedly uploaded my PDF book file only to have it rejected over and over. The only one it accepts is the one where the font too small. My PDF file is 6 by 9. Same as my choice for the book size. It keeps telling me that the file is the right size but I have too many pages. Well at 6 x 9 I have 558 pages which is well within the 700 max guideline. This is very frustrating and frankly this process should be transparent. So tell me the magic words I have to say or write so I can move on so I can get the book done and order copies? 

Looking on the web, I have found that this has been a constant problem.

Try a docx. And it has not been a constant problem.

Glad to see I'm not alone with the uploading problem. As I stated previously, the very first time I uploaded  my file there was no problem. After making corrections to the text for formatting and font I have had no success after five attempts including using My File.

Also, their appears to be no problem to upload the complete file..., when the uploading has finished the window remains unchanged except for the clock running. I receive no prompts.

My computer system is in excellent condition and I have no problems to access files, uploading, downloading, saving, etc.

Why do you assume that it is always the customer's computer system that is faulty?

Can someone at Lulu investigate and help me? My Word document has only 37 pages and 42 photos.
