I would like to use Nielsen ISBNs on 2 titles which have Lulu ISBNs and are currently available through Amazon.
Is the procedure to first retire/delete the Lulu ISBN Titles and then begin 2 new Projects and use the new ISBN numbers?
Would appreciate any advice on this, thank you.
Remarkable new book! CENTRE

Yes - and then buy Global Distribution at $75 for each book.
I am interested in the reasons you want to do this, would you share?

PS - your link doesn't work, it is missing an 8 from the number, but that would link to a book without a preview, This link goes to one with a preview
http://www.lulu.com/shop/brian-taylor/centre/paper
PPS - if you removed the blank lines between paragraphs and use indents as traditional then you could reduce the number of pages in your book, thuis reducing your costs and wllowing you to - if you wish - to lower the retail price.
PPS. Your page numbered 3 seems to me to properly be page 5.

Hi Peter - thank you for the confirmation about how to replace an ISBN.
The decision to change to Nielsen ISBNs on some titles is because books with Lulu ISBNs we have found are not listed with UK Distributors like Gardners - even with GlobalReach. (Blackwell couldn't stock a title they were interested in because it wasn't available through their distributor - Gardners. )
Also, with a Nielsen ISBN - Catalogue Records of the book are requested for deposit at the Bodleian Library Oxford University, The Cambridge University Library, National Library of Scotland, National Library of Wales and Trinity College Library Dublin.
I did send a query a couple of months ago to Lulu about buying GlobalReach and using a Nielsen ISBN as to who to put down as the Distributor on the Nielsen form. I didn't receive a reply.
Thank you for correcting the link! I'll pass on the helpful 'tips' to the author, thank you for that too!
With best wishes.

If you're doing this to get bookshop sales I wish you luck. There are many discussions here - search for Waterstones - from authors wanting their books in UK bookshops.
